The Louisiana Department of Natural Resources will be coming to Stonewall Library to do a fun solar activity with children in grades 3-5.
Penguins in Paradise
The talented Ms. Kathy Davis will be here doing a program on painting penguins in Paradise. This is for all ages and will be very fun. We can’t wait to see everyone.
Sheriff’s Department Presentation on their Job, Dogs, & Vehicles
The Desoto Parish Sheriffs office will be here to do a presentation talking about their jobs and showing off their dogs and vehicles to all of the children in grades Pre-K-2nd. We will be providing free popsicles & drinks.
Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park (Owls)
Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park will be visiting Stonewall Library to do a presentation for children in 3rd-5th grades about owls.
Magic Show with balloon animals
Dave Tomba will be coming to do a magic show and have time after to make balloon animals for those who come! We will give out free popsicles.
Who to call if you have an accident on your Adventure
Stonewall EMS will be coming to do a presentation on their job and showing off their vehicle. We will be providing free drinks and Popsicles. This program is for children who just came out of Pre-K-2nd Grade.
Stonewall Summer Reading Kick off 2024
Summer Reading is May 29th-June 27th on Tuesdays-Thursdays. Kick off is the first day we will be meeting. Adventure Begins in your Library!

Come out and enjoy a delightful presentation on Camping given by the Cane River Creole Historic National Park group. They will also be doing a presentation of the history of the Cane River area.
